  • Ripped nail from toe, exposed skin healing?

Posted by unknown on November 16, 2022 at 7:55 am
Hey hey, Yesterday at work I turned a machine and managed to rip my big toe nail off, well at least 2/3 of it. Anything you’d recommend for speedy healing?

And maybe also for nail health, 2.5 months ago I also pulled a ragged nail on my finger and the nail detached from the nail bed, thankfully it’s now basically regrown but I had no skin exposed unlike my agony of a toe right now lol

    Thanks 😀

OUUUUCH!! Is the wound covered with a bandage or not?

I would be applying Active Skin Repair (BERN10 for discount) gel on that wound and red light therapy daily to help speed up the healing process. Do you have a red light device? If not, I would remove bandage temporarily and expose it to the sun daily for at least 30 minutes. Ground while you’re at it.

I would also support the immune system for a few days with higher dose vitamin A, D3, and zinc (zinc blended with copper like Jarrow Zinc Balance for example), as I would if I was fighting off an illness to help support the healing process.

I’ve also messaged my friend who is a homeopath. I’m sure there’s something he would recommend. I know that Arnica Montana is helpful for acute physical traumas, but I’ll wait to hear from him and let you know what he says.

Wound is covered yes, trying to spend some time without a bandage each day so that would go perfectly with sun light exposure

Nervous system has been shot due to high stress lately so do want to prevent illness now the body is trying to heal this also so will defo take these recommendations on board thank you

if stress is at play, then getting outside and grounding daily is going to help you in so many other ways too. It’s an instant energy boost for me, when I step outside and ground. But it’s also immuno-supportive (references below) if you’d like to geek out:

By the way, my homeopath friend got back to me. He said if there’s pain, Hypericum 200c would be helpful.
