    Hi B. And Daniel,

I am meeting the GI Consultant tomorrow to discuss my endoscopy and colonoscopy results.

I want to bring up the gallbladder issue. Is there a specific test I can request for apart from the blood test which I’ve done already.

For example HIDA scan or any another?

they can physically scan the area as you mentioned, but from experience, biliary tract congestion is often not seen in a scan in the early stages. This is where we rely on blood markers and symptoms to help prevent a future problem.

thank you B. He’s against a HIDA scan as I don’t have loose motions or pain in my back and mentioned a medicine called CREON. I want to try D- limonene, but can I try something else only due to the Gastritis

He mentioned that if there is a slight malfunction, they’ll remove the GB.

    My colon is fine.

Re : the endoscopy, he wants to me to have a scope in two years time.

exactly – your symptoms aren’t extreme enough to warrant this test, and even if you insisted, it likely won’t show anything. CREON is a digestive enzyme. It’s not going to solve your issue but it will act like a band-aid to help break down your food better. Targeted biliary tract support to “decongest” the area would still be my go-to choice. I shared many different options; if d-limonene irritates you, you can look at the other options mentioned like taurine, phosphatidylcholine, milk thistle, curcumin, etc.

D-limonene can be started off slowly (250mg) and increased gradually to 1,000mg per day. I usually tell my clients to place it in the freezer and take it 3/4 way through their meal to delay the release of citrus oils and prevent any burning/burping.

going to try the D- limonene. The pain and bloating straight after eating anything is extremely uncomfortable. Thanks  B.

     Just seen the video.

I will retry iberogast. I stopped taking it a while back due to the strong taste. It was sent to me from Poland as it’s not available here. How do you recommend clients to take it?

The link below is for a Swedish bitter. What do you think of this and should I follow the instructions on the bottle?

as I shared in the Liver & Gallbladder support video and slides, for biliary tract congestion, I would focus on d-limonene, taurine, milk thistle, curcumin, and choline (PC).

Digestive bitters help increase bile flow and emptying of the gallbladder, so that would not be my choice for you at this stage as it may cause nausea due to the sludge/congestion. I would focus on decongesting the biliary tract first for 30-60 days, then re-test direct bilirubin. If still >0.2, continue for another 30 days. Then I would consider bitters.

Thank you. Just to be sure, I just take only one the items.

Also, the GI Consultant has booked me in for an iron IV infusion this Friday. Is this OK?

D-limonene is often enough alone, but sometimes PC and taurine can be added in addition to d-limonene, and in cases where citrus extract is not tolerated.

Please remind me of your iron/ferritin levels again please. Knowing that there are likely parasitic infections, I usually ask my clients to hold off on supplemental iron until after a parasite cleanse or unless they are severely anemic and symptomatic.

I’ll try the D-limonene first. Which brand should I go for as both are high dosage. Is there a brand which is 250mg?

PS – I love the section where you speak about artichoke and how to cook it. Please watch Stanley Tucci: searching for Tucci.

Regarding iron/ferritin levels. Please see attached file Naveed Aslam14.2.23 Blood Test By Dr. Haidry (GI Consultant. Please refer to pages 8, 16 and 17.[Naveed Aslam 14.2.23 Blood Test By Dr. Haidry (GI Consultant).pdf]
Afterwards, on 21st February 2023, during my stay in the clinic for the endoscopy and colonoscopy, my blood test was repeated. Please see attached file “21.2.23 IRON + TRANSFERRIN +TBC. The readings improved.[21.2.23 IRON + TRANSFERRIN + TIBC.pdf]

for my clients who need to start lower with D-limonene for the first week or so to gradually get to 1,000mg per day, I recommend the Swanson brand. It comes in 250mg per cap dosage. Once they’re on 1,000mg, they switch over to Integrative Therapeutics D-Limonene, which is costly but I’ve found it to be the cleanest and most effective. They typically never need more than 30-90 days.

Regarding your iron, I personally would not go for the infusion for the reasons I mentioned above, especially with the likelihood of parasites. Again, I can’t tell you what to do, but if this was me, I would wait until after I’ve done a parasite cleanse or two. Speak to your doctor about it please.

unfortunately, Amrita Nutrition or Natural Dispensary don’t sell Swanson brand. Amrita sell integrative therapeutics.

Other sites which I’ve never come across sell Swanon but 1000mg. Which supplement which is easy on the stomach shall I try as an alternative.

Is there a test for parasites?

check Amazon and iHerb. Swanson makes it in 250mg capsules.

Parasite testing is very unreliable. They shed their DNA within 15 mins of being out of their environment which is why they are often missed in tests. High Eosinophils, stomach pains and other GI symptoms together with low iron and other nutrients are all indicative of parasites. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money. Instead use that money towards parasite cleansing.

However to answer your question, most comprehensive functional stool tests like GI Map and Genova’s stool tests offer parasite testing. You can also check https://www.parasites.org/best-parasite-lab-test/ for a comparison of the different parasite tests, and see the one they offer as well.

No luck with the D-limonene B both on Amazon UK and iherb.com.

Direct website is out of stock;  D-Limonene Cold-Pressed Orange Peel Extract | Swanson Health Products Europe (swansoneurope.com)

Which supplement should I go for on your slide?
