9’year old sick
Posted by lina_abdulkarim on July 26, 2023 at 1:02 pmHi there. My 9 year old daughter is on day 3 of her fever. She had a headache first day but now it’s mainly just tiredness and body aches. She has no appetite at all but I’ve been trying to give her juice, popsicles and water ( although she’s been refusing last two as she said they taste bed). I’m holding off on giving her any fever reducing meds but how do I help her feel better soon? She usually doesn’t have a fever this long. It’s two days max. We are on day 3 now and she doesn’t seem any better. Plz advise.lina_abdulkarim replied 1 year, 3 months ago 2 Members · 24 Replies -

Hi – have you been giving her anything to help support her immune system? Here’s the protocol I use for my kids. The immune system requires certain nutrients, and that’s what I supply their body with to help with the fight.
Hope she recovers swiftly!

I have given her the IAG a few times but will try to add some others you mentioned. Xx

when IAG powder 3 x per day doesn’t help kick it within the first day or so and I notice a decline/strong symptoms, I add in the other nutrients which helps tremendously. Please keep us posted!

Is the iag based more on age of weight? My daughter is 9 but weighs 98 pounds. I’m wondering if I should just give her a full teaspoon?

FYI – I give vitamin D supplementation in the mornings/afternoons and avoid giving it at night. It goes against our body clock since vitamin D production is achieved during the day, so I like to follow that same pattern when supplementing.

it’s based on both weight and age. More doesn’t hurt in acute situations.

So I will just give her an adult dose of these? The 3 little ones once a day and iag 3x?

I shared the child dosages that I typically use for my kids in the protocol as a reference. I unfortunately cannot give you specifics for your child.

no, I actually give clearer dosage guidelines in the protocol. Read it again please and let me know if you have any questions.

her fever is still there. But it’s better. She’s still complaining of a headache and at night she was super congested so couldn’t breath at all. Doesn’t help she’s already a mouth breather due to her enlarged adenoids so it was absolutely miserable for her and she couldn’t sleep. I’m going to take her to Ped today so he can give her a steroid to help reduce adenoids so she can breathe better. It’s a temporary solution as I don’t like steroids. Need to figure out how to reduce her adenoids without surgery 🙁
