    I wanted to check in with everyone to see how your summer holidays are going.

    With the lack of routine, more dining out, and later nights, have you found it difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle (i.e. diet, exercise, sleep, stress reduction, etc)?

    What challenges do you face? Or what successful habits have you developed over the summer? I would love to hear from you…


    I’ll start…

    My challenge has always been the quality of the food and junk food my kids are given while visiting friends and family members. I turn a blind eye since I know it will be short-lived, but it’s always difficult for me knowing what I know about the food industry. It’s frustrating. My book UNJUNK is definitely needed!

    My win… I have personally committed to meditating more regularly this summer and can honestly say that I feel more balanced. The name of this wonderful app? Exactly that… Balance! I didn’t understand the name of the app until I truly felt it. So for anyone looking to start a meditation practice, the first year is free and highly recommended. I started it with no expectations other than wanting to commit to it daily. The changes I’m experiencing are subtle but profound.

    Another win… I have consistently been working out while on holiday including walks on days I didn’t train. Really happy about that. 🙂
