    Hi
    – all fermented foods will be high in histamine and best avoided. However, each person’s tolerance varies so you could attempt a small amount (1 tsp and gradually increase from there slowly) and see how you do given the amazing probiotic benefits it provides.

It won’t cause any die-off but instead bring better balance & diversity to the microbiome over time. Low and slow is key.

with histamine intolerance and in your experience, can it be improved with certain types of probiotics and digestive enzymes?

coconut yogurt kefir usually has additional ingredients so I’d start with coconut kefir to rule out any possible sensitivities to those ingredients that might mislead any symptoms.

DAO enzymes (made from pork) can help break down histamine levels for rapid relief while working on addressing the root causes. Seeking Health’s Histamine Digest is a good one and is available in Fullscript and iHerb.
