Posted by unknown on April 12, 2024 at 10:06 pm

My little one got sick couple days ago. He has been battling a fever of 101-103 for three days which means his body is fighting SOMETHING he got in school ?

I am currently supporting his immune system with the basics, Vitamin D,A,C, zinc

    I also added:

    immune support by NEEDED

and belladona ck 200 pellets for fever – this worked really well but his fever comes back after 4-5 hours “:/

ive done cold wet socks, doesnt help, ive done flax seed homemade syrup didnt help , ive done acv, ive done cloves, ive done everything, ive done thyme/oregano but only for one day since he was WAY too hot and according to chinese medicine, those herbs are way too hot to introduce to the body if its ALREADY hot specially his lugs. I dont know how to support killing whatever virus he has going on :/

I also want to mention he only coughs in the day time, not during sleep… which i find really odd.

his spirits are good, hes eating, a bit slow but moving , talking , responsive etc

the cough is Just SOOOO Difficult, dry and doesnt stop.

Can someone please help me? :/

@Amliv Sotomayor you’re already doing a great job with all the immune support and natural antiviral support with elderberry in the Needed Immune Support. I also like to add arabinogalactans into the mix. That’s usually my initial go-to, which helps boost natural killer cells.

In addition, if you’re sure it’s a viral infection, you can also consider homeopathic support (Oscillococcinum) since it’s still in the early stages:

At the first sign of viral/flu symptoms, consider the homeopathic remedy Oscillococcinum which is clinically proven to reduce the duration and severity of flu symptoms such as body aches, headache, fever, chills, and fatigue.

Recommended dosage as per Boiron’s instructions:

Children 2 years of age and older: Dissolve entire contents of one tube in the mouth every 6 hours, up to 3 times a day. Reduce frequency to once or twice a day as symptoms improve.

As for the cough, you can try the “Hot Seven” homeopathic magnesium cell salt which can help ease spasms/coughing:

    Schuessler’s cell salt No. 7 – Magnesium Phosphoricum 6x:

Prepare the “Hot Seven” which has proven to be fast-acting and effective against acute aches and cramps/spasms:

Put 10 tablets into a teacup and pour boiling water over them.

Stir the tablets with a teaspoon until they have completely dissolved.

Once it’s cooled a little, sip the hot solution slowly. Hold each mouthful for a few seconds before swallowing in order to facilitate absorption through the mucus membranes of the mouth.

The “Hot Seven” is usually very effective at relieving non-stop dry coughing. If it’s not enough, I’d suggest reviewing the Lung Health protocol HERE and look at the different herbs that can help based on the description of his type of cough. For example, if he’s having trouble breathing due to the coughs, then Lobelia is a go-to. If there’s mucous, Elecampane would be helpful. Take a look at the list and let me know if you have any questions, but hopefully the homeopathic support above will be enough.

@Amliv Sotomayor glad you got him checked. Knowing that it’s bacterial, I’m sure he was prescribed antibiotics. That’s always an option when necessary. We have an antibiotic support protocol if needed.

Here are other antimicrobial options available that I’ve used successfully in addition to all the systemic immune support:

-Swallowing high dose ADP tablets (emulsified oregano) but they’re too hard and big for kids along with sucking on them

    -Biocidin spray and oral drops

    -Silver Hydrosol

    -Salt/Turmeric gargles

Hope your little guy feels better soon!

Thank you !!! Could the antimicrobial options be done in conjunction with antibiotics? sorry I may have misread ( I havent slept much this week with him being sick and i am pushing my sleep time making sure his fever is down and hes comfortable at 10:45.

I started him on the antibiotics tonight but I am not sure if its overkill to add -Swallowing high dose ADP tablets (emulsified oregano) but they’re too hard and big for kids along with sucking on them

    -Biocidin spray and oral drops

    -Silver Hydrosol

    -Salt/Turmeric gargles ?

or did you mean an antibiotic support protocol elsewhere? if so , where could I find that?

Also what could be the dosage for a 6 year old at 50 pounds? I have all of those in my cupboard.

@Amliv Sotomayor no – do not give him the natural antimicrobials if you’re giving him the antibiotics.

You didn’t mention if antibiotics were given so I was proving other natural options just in case.

HERE is the protocol that can support antibiotic therapy.

@Bernadette Abraham Oh yes! I have him on Therbiotics Kids since before it started.

@Amliv Sotomayor Therbiotic Kids doesn’t have S Boulardii which is what’s recommended when someone is taking antibiotics to prevent yeast overgrowth. It’s a different formula to ABx Support for example.

@Bernadette Abraham oh right that one. Yes I have that too. I’m unsure of dosages for kids tho. Is it one entire pill ? or is it broken up

@Amliv Sotomayor usually 1/3rd to half the adult dose

@Bernadette Abraham got it ! ty will add to him now. do you recommend doing the

    Biocidin spray and oral drops

    -Silver Hydrosol

    -Salt/Turmeric gargles

approach after allowing his body some recovering time from the antibiotics ? I ask because I know antibiotics will not remove the biofilm that will be left behind.

@Amliv Sotomayor I personally wouldn’t unless my child didn’t get better

@Bernadette Abraham Hey Bernadette! hes much better now after antibiotics. I did learn that antibiotics do not get rid of the biofilm of strep A or fully remove the bacteria , is this true?

@Amliv Sotomayor yes that’s true. Antibiotics might not completely get rid of the biofilm of strep A or wipe out the bacteria entirely.

Biofilms are like shields bacteria use to hide, so while antibiotics can tackle the bacteria that are floating around freely, they might have a tough time breaking through these biofilms completely.

Also keep in mind antibiotic resistance over time. That’s why it’s important to choose the right antibiotics, get the dosage and duration spot on, and maybe even consider some extra therapies to target those biofilms while giving the immune system a boost.

I talk about biofilm busters HERE and HERE.

@Bernadette Abraham Whoa I didnt know you had to do tese biofilm busters / disruptions before doing a cleanse! Or perhaps I dont remember from our time together, it seems so long ago now. That was a jumbled and very difficult time in my life.

My other question is how does one go about adding a biiofilm buster/binder for 6 year olds? I fear my little one is dealing with being unable to fully absorb his food specially after the antibiotic usage and still dealing with a persistent cough even after the antibiotics. >.<
