Help! Son drank old fresh pressed juice we had forgotten on a table for few days
Posted by hannahsyed1 on May 14, 2024 at 3:17 amMy son grabbed a cup of fresh juice and sugar drink that was left on the counter a few mins ago. It was made at a store and somehow got left in one of the rooms for a few days. I don’t want him getting food poisoning, I’m terrified. Not sure what to do. I gave him some black seed oil and klaire labs probiotics. What else should I give him?!

@Annie Sye it’s understandable to feel worried, but there are steps you can take to help ease your concerns. Keep an eye on your son for any signs of discomfort or illness. He might be ok and not need anything additional at this point. Offer him plenty of water to stay hydrated and help flush out any toxins. His immune system might be robust enough to handle whatever pathogen *may have developed.
Should he start to develop signs of food poisoning, like nausea and vomiting, we have this protocol HERE that can help offer relief and also know when it’s time to see a doctor. For younger children, Biocidin in my go-to multi-herbal antimicrobial.

@Bernadette Abraham thank you so much. I’ll see where to grab some biocidin. Looks like the spray is available by tomorrow to be shipped to me. Should I use the recommended dosage? Or use less, in case we need it ? Also thank you so so much for the information.

@Annie Sye they share the dose based on the child’s weight on their website HERE. I would only use it if necessary.
“Children may use 1 drop per 10 lbs. of body weight per day, divided into 2 doses.”
You can find it in Fullscript HERE with B Better’s 20% member discount.

@Bernadette Abraham ok, Amazon says it’ll get here tomorrow. Want to keep on hand in case. Are there any side effects? I’m assuming since you say to only use if needed it’s not to be taken Willy nilly. Thanks B.

@Annie Sye correct – no willy nilly it’s a herbal antimicrobial. It won’t hurt if he took it, but it should be used when needed as intended.

@Annie Sye if you haven’t already seen my Medicine Cabinet Must-Haves guide, you’ll see Biocidin is one of the supplements I keep on hand for various uses. The guide also shares what remedies I use for different situations so you can feel more confident and prepared for the future ah-oh’s which are inevitable with kids.
