  Water Tank Cleaning

  Hi @Bernadette Abraham. I need to get our water tank cleaned in the villa. After checking multiple companies, I see they all use different materials for cleaning ranging from Chlorine, chemicals, foams etc …. One of the companies I found are using a special foam made out of aloe vera, citric acid, baking soda, soap… No sure if I am wrong, but I am not so fuss about disinfecting the tank; but rather would focus on having a proper cleaning with bioproducts rather than chemicals. I believe you live in villa as well, could you please share your experience with the tank cleaning, and any recommendations you may have for a company that aligns with our less chemicals approach to cleaning ?

  Hi @Seyma Wilschefski – I have a yearly contract with Home Care for organic pest control service, but they also offer tank cleaning services.

  They first clean the tanks manually by scrubbing off rust, removing debris, etc., and then they sanitize it using Nades 2.0 which is what the Dubai Municipality uses.

  Depending on the tank size, it costs around 800 Dhs and takes about 3 hours.
