    Hi B and Daniel,

Was wondering what helps with stagnant lymph. I have puffy armpits and puffy upper sides of my back. Was told it’s caused by improper lymph drainage. What to do? Thank you.

@Annie Sye please make time to watch Dr. Perry Nickelston’s session (aka The Lymph Doc) on lymph flow. He was our guest expert in February and he showed us how to do “The Big 6”.

Here’s the link to watch his session and understand the lymphatic system better. It will hopefully help alleviate the pain in your back that you mentioned in a previous post as well.

@Bernadette Abraham Dr.Perry mentioned shilajit for binding. Is that always necessary, will the toxins just keep circulating if we don’t take a binder? Also, is there a brand of shilajit you like? Some naturopathic doctors mention shilajit being wonderful but there’s a certain health condition, if you happen to have, then it’s best to avoid it? Can’t remember what it was. Can I do the big six while nursing , or will the toxins go in the milk? And can I take shilajit while nursing?

Lastly, would my brother benefit from the big six if he is having his mental health issues and mold exposure? His body is quite overburdened and struggling as it is. Please let me know what you think.

    Thanks B.

@Annie Sye there are many different types of binders, including food binders when supplements aren’t appropriate. I discuss them HERE inside the Mold & Mycotoxin Illness course.

And yes, lymphatic drainage can be done while breastfeeding. In fact, it’s often recommended for women who get engorged.

As for your brother, yes, he can also do the Big Six but let him start very slowly, and allow him to notice what feels best without developing any noticeable symptoms afterwards. He will definitely benefit since it helps dump toxins into our elimination pathways so we can excrete them.

Are any of those binders safe while nursing ?

@Annie Sye chlorella – it’s both nutritive and a gentle binder. And fiber is a great binder as well! Don’t underestimate the power of food! Flax seeds, chia seeds, rice bran, oat bran, psyllium husk… all great food binders you can safely incorporate while breastfeeding.
