If you missed our live session, you can now watch the full discussion anytime. Eddie Stern shared the inspiring story behind The Breathing App, explained how slow breathing can support blood sugar regulation and cardiovascular health — especially for people with diabetes — and guided us through a practical breathing exercise.
Bio
Eddie Stern, MSc, is the founder and CEO of the Breathing App, an author, lecturer, and certified yoga instructor with over 35 years of experience. After being diagnosed with congenital heart defects in 2004, Eddie faced significant stress and health challenges. Through sustained slow breathing practices, he was able to lower his resting heart rate, reduce blood pressure, and improve sleep quality—benefits that yoga alone couldn’t achieve. This journey led to the creation of the Breathing App, designed to offer affordable, effective guidance for improving cardiovascular health through slow breathing.
Overview of the Breathing App for Diabetes
Slow breathing is a powerful way to restore balance to your cardiovascular, autonomic, and respiratory systems. The Breathing App for Diabetes guides you through exercises that can help manage stress, which is crucial for improving diabetes symptoms and overall well-being. In our one-hour session, Eddie Stern, MSc—founder and CEO of the Breathing App—will explain the science behind the app and demonstrate a breathing exercise. You’ll experience the immediate benefits of slow breathing and have the opportunity to ask questions live.
All attendees will receive a special offer: one month free with an annual subscription. Long-term use of slow breathing has been shown to improve blood sugar regulation by enhancing stress management and overall health.
