Sudden middle lower abdomen pain
Posted by hannahsyed1 on April 17, 2024 at 12:18 pmHi B,
It feels internal and right above pubic bone. Dull achy pain. Only thing there is my bladder is my guess. Do you know of anything safe while nursing for uti?
Also is there anything natural for appendicitis ? I’m going to the ER but don’t want it removed in case that’s the issue.

@Annie Sye appendix pain is usually higher up; half way between the belly button and the top of the right hip bone. But definitely get this checked out by a doc.
In case of a UTI, another member just recently asked the same question but during pregnancy. You can read my response HERE (click on ‘leave a comment’ or the title to be taken to the post thread).

@Bernadette Abraham thank you so much B. I will answer the last question you answered today hopefully. I’ve been feeling quite down with what’s happening with my brother. Apologies for the late reply.

@Annie Sye I share your pain and you’re not alone. It’s the hardest thing when our loved ones are unwell. Feel free to vent and share how you’re feeling if it helps release those emotions for you.
And take your time. We’re here when you need us.

@Bernadette Abraham thank you so much. I will keep that in mind.
I have gastritis. My husband suggested prevacid. I’ve been taking that. But not sure what to take to calm the inflammation . My stomach feels very sore and inflamed, it’s gotten quite uncomfortable. I’m taking Prevacid to ease my discomfort. But would also like to do something to heal my stomach.

@Annie Sye so the pain you were feeling above the pubic bone was from gastritis???
It’s important to note that Prevacid is a proton pump inhibitor, meaning it reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. So while it may provide much needed rapid relief to inflamed gastric tissue temporarily, it can can also become part of the problem if used longer term since we need good strong stomach acid for optimal digestion and absorption of many key nutrients.
So your question about how to help heal inflamed tissue is spot on in order to not need that type of rapid relief. I encourage you to watch THIS video from the Gut Health Masterclass course for tips and suggestions. My go-to’s from that video are cabbage juice as a food therapy option, and GI Revive. But there are many other options too.

@Bernadette Abraham yes 🙁 the pain is so bad. So sore and just awful all inside my stomach.
Thank you,I will watch the video you tagged.
Do you by chance know of a way to ship something to another country, a shipping service ? For a product that doesn’t ship to that country. I remember you had mentioned a service. From US to Canada.
