@Nathalie Khoury yes, it’s appropriate for kids too. Just need to adjust the dosage by opening up capsules and mixing into liquid or over food.
Another option for S Boulardii instead of the one in the protocol that’s marketed for kids is this one by Florastor.
And Klaire Labs also offers a kids broad spectrum powder probiotic which can be taken for several months after the course of antibiotics to replace the UltraFlora Biome Pro in the protocol.
These are just a few suggestions. There are many options.

I have this one at home – it doesn’t have S boulardii though, is it good? Or else i’ll get one of the other ones

@Nathalie Khoury during antibiotics, you’ll want something with S Boulardii since it creates an environment favorable for yeast to overgrow. S Boulardii is a beneficial yeast that can keep an overgrowth from happening.

Hi! Since my fullscript order got cancelled, i’ll buy from Amrita Nutrition as recommended by the team – can you please recommend the most appropriate probiotic they have on their website? @Bernadette Abraham

@Nathalie Khoury as for S Boulardii, I couldn’t find any available for kids on Amrita. But I found a few options on iHerb that offer S. boulardii in their formulation for kids:
-Primal Defense Kids
-Probulin
My favorite is still Florastor Kids which is available on Amazon here.
Please confirm if that’s what you were looking for.

Omg that’s definitely much easier to get! Will purchase on Amazon thank you are we ok with the amount of sugar in the florastor one?
-
@Nathalie Khoury I’m fine with it. That specific strain is very effective so the sweetener which helps with compliance in children is a small price to pay in my opinion
-
@Bernadette Abraham can the powder be mixed in pancakes or oats for example? or it can’t be ‘cooked’? my daughter is making such a big deal out of drinking it with water

@Nathalie Khoury have you tried mixing it into a bit of freshly squeezed orange juice? Do not heat the probiotic. You can also try sprinkling it into food that is slightly moist/soft like apple sauce and yogurt for example. Let me know if that helps.

@Nathalie Khoury Ideally yes – but some is always better than none if you’re finding it difficult. You can also split the dose and give it in 2 servings at different times in the day.
