Hi Patti – glad you’re feeling better. It can take several weeks after the illness to really feel like ourselves again. Let me know if I can support you in any way. I am also planning on filing a course for those suffering from long covid if there’s a majority interest from members.

Thank you! I have been doing the things
necessary, forgot to mention that I got a UTI, not sure how it was related, but I guess when the immune system is down bacteria can over take.

100% – bullies on the playground come out to play when immune system’s resources are being used up to fight off pathogens. Have you been able to ward off the UTI as well? I’ll put together a fact sheet and add UTIs to the symptom dictionary

at the first sign of a brewing UTI, my go-to’s are d-mannose, uva ursi, cranberry extract & avoiding sugar in any form and anything acidic. Here’s a post I did on Insta about it: https://www.instagram.com/p/COLFy6xptCw/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

I used to always recommend 2 back-to-back bottles of Thorne Uristatin at full dose and it worked like magic at knocking out brewing infections but they’ve recently stopped making it. Now I recreate their formula/dosages using 2 or 3 different products. It still gets the job done.

Also look into a probiotic product that has S Boulardi in it. It’s a benefit type of yeast that can prevent a future yeast infection post-antibiotic. Something like Metagenics UltraFlora Spectrum.

if you don’t have a yeast sensitivity, ask your practitioner about adding in S Boulardi to that mix. Antibiotics wipe out both the harmful and beneficial bacteria allowing opportunistic yeast to overgrowth. S Boulardi is a beneficial yeast that can help keep the bullies off the playground
