I am thrilled to be a part of this community where we are able to openly discuss & learn how to be our own best health advocate!

My least favorite food is liver and I must say that I get a little “twitchy” when I read how others incorporate it in their nutrition .

My journey began in 2015 when I was diagnosed with “mixed auto immune” and my Dr. wanted to place me on chemo meds right away.
My instinct was to say no and I then asked if I could explore improving my health through nutrition.

Admittedly, I need to improve my approach by learning, implementing & maintaining consistency so here I am!

My absolute goal is to become healthier and maintain a strong physique and lower weight.

I look forward to getting to know all of you ☺️

Welcome  – I’m so happy to have you here with us. I love your commitment to wanting to take control over your own health and I look forward to being able to guide you the best to my ability.

As a starting point, definitely watch the Gut Health Masterclass and Beginner’s Health Roadmap if you haven’t already. It’s a great starting point.

Autoimmunity always has leaky gut/gut dysfunction as one of its root causes (immune dysregulation & triggers – being the other factors to this perfect storm), and I touch on disease progression inside the Gut Health Masterclass to illustrate how it’s all connected, and how autoimmunity is very often rooted in the gut.

I chuckled at your distaste for liver. I vow to convert you. Have you seen the 2 new liver recipes that I added inside the Discounts & Resources? If you like butter, there’s a good chance you may actually enjoy this chicken liver pate recipe that I shared.

Welcome once again – and looking forward to witnessing your progress.
