I’m super excited to join this community. I’m 39year old with children living in Dubai. I’m passionate about environmental sustainability and trying to build a healthier and “greener” life for myself and my family.. I have some unexplained chest discomfort and abdominal discomfort for some time now, on and off, and trying to figure out what could be the root cause.. looking forward to the conversations and courses on this site. 🙂

    Hey ,

Welcome to the community! My name is Daniel and I assist Bernadette.

We have a lot of content. Perhaps we could help you get started here.  Could you tell us more about your discomfort?  What does the discomfort feel like? Does it come & go after dinner? Is it more stress-related? Do you feel it in the muscles? Or is the discomfort deeper in the body?

You could also share your story/question in the section ‘Ask your questions’ (click here). In this space, it’s easier for others to learn from your experience as well!

Let us know how we can help you best!

Hello  – welcome to B Better! We’re happy you’ve joined us!

Yesterday, we had Valentina Cereda, an architect and building biologist come in to speak to us about EMF mitigation and home health, so I think you’ll really enjoy that call recording. It is now uploaded and can be found in the “All Call Recordings” space in your library dashboard (or click here).

It was a long call but she was very detailed and brought to light the barrage of industrial chemicals that are lurking around us! But she did also provide a framework to help us know which questions to ask and what certifications to look for. So it’s empowering.

Unexplained chest discomfort and abdominal discomfort… I’m assuming you’ve been to see doctors and they give you a clean bill of health? Mold was the first thing that jumped out at me. If this resonates with you, please start a post in the Ask Your Questions space so we can start helping you get to the root cause of that discomfort.

Welcome again – you’re in good company.

thank you for the warm welcome!! 🙂 super excited to be here.
So I have been having some periods when I experienced this discomfort, I had a few years ago some night time panic attacks (I think) and that time I was really low on iron. After I got better and got my two kids and had some mild discomfort. Last year I went to a cardiologist and thankfully it was advised that all the test were great. more recently I got this chest discomfort or pain that is quite topical on the left side started a few weeks ago (no panic attack) but it was waking me up at night and for a few nights it didn’t let me sleep flat because the pain increased laying down. The difference was that the pain would come during the day too but not so strong, and go after a few minutes. Repeated the cardiology tests and it all clear thankfully. I can sleep properly now. Could perhaps be stress related but I’m not sure if I have that much stress…

Simultaneously, I have this abdominal discomfort for years, also left side little up of the belly button. did a bunch of tests, MRI and all good. Could be irritable bowel syndrome perhaps.. but is not sharp mild discomfort so I kind of live with it but also would be great to get rid of it of course. this kind of disappeared while pregnant twice.
