ok do take a look at this product by Biotics Research called HCL Ease. It has healing botanicals specifically designed to be taken while someone is on PPIs for GERD and contains pepsin to help with breakdown of protein. Might be something to consider at this stage alongside GI Relief.

The therapeutic dose is typically 3 capsules, 2 x per day between meals. And if nighttime reflux is an issue, 3 capsules can also be taken 1 hour before bed.

is 30 mins before food ok. I am only able to take it in the morning or first meal of the day.

By the evening, I am unable to take too many supplements. I take the key ones like slippery elm, marshmallow root and DGL. Also, Zinc L carnosine and obviously something too eat.

Is this the supplement? Will it not affect my gastritis as it contains HCl?

Also, trying to fit this supplement whilst having other supplements, I hope can tolerate. I am constantly full.

will do. I saw HCL on the product label which worried me . Oh, Out of stock at the moment. I’ve entered my email address to notify me when available.

I’ll try Natural Dispensary, another supplier.

    Hi B.,

Biotics Research HCL is back in stock. Is this taken in addition to the Digestive Enzymes as this product mentions enzymes as well.

HCL ease is not an enzyme formula. It only contains pepsin to help break down protein, so yes, it can be taken in addition to enzymes which will cover not only protein breakdown, but carbs and fats too.
