    Hello!

I decided to start a cleaning / detox program – Dr Junger’s Clean. It will be my first ever detox program and I’m super excited. Reasons are to see if my stomach discomfort would stop, I had some unexplained chest pain (though not so much recently) heavy period (can also be due to my coil) and to simply start a healthier lifestyle.

My question is: in the same time I have some parasites I need to get rid of (I talked about in another post) and I’m wondering whether it is advisable to get rid of them before, or better change to tackle the issue after..

Question 2 is about biofilms and binders in case I do the parasite cleaning. I listened to the video about them and as wondering if I should start using biofilm busters during my prep stage (elimination diet) .. if I should continue using it throughout or just as a prep.
I don’t want to take too many things during the cleaning program so was thinking to do the parasite cleaning after my detox for over another few weeks. Is it when I would introduce binders?

Question 3 is about probiotics, would you be able to suggest any good brands available in Dubai for during the cleaning program?

    Thank you again

Hi – I’m not familiar with this cleanse, but did try to read up about it. There seems to be a 7-day and 21-day cleanse program? Is this the one you’re doing? https://www.cleanprogram.com/products/clean7

To answer your first question. Follow your gut instinct… I would recommend the cleanse program first, then the parasite cleanse. It’s always best to do a parasite cleanse when the liver and gallbladder are well supported and you’re pooping like a champ, which should be the case after doing your cleanse program.

To answer your 2nd question. Biofilm breakers can be started 1 week before a cleanse, and carried on for the duration of the cleanse. I also would not want to combine anything else outside of a specific program to remove any unknown variables. Finish your detox program, then move onto the next stage.

    Hope that makes sense.

Thank you! So you mean, if this is not mentioned in the program then better not do it? (It mentions hydrotherapy to enhance the cleaning as an option.. but I don’t really want to do that) Also, I never did such program before, nor biofilm 🙂 so I’m happy to go easy first.

Yes, I read the book itself and it really resonated with me. In the US people can actually order supplements and all (as the author developed a whole business around it) but I’ll be only following the concept and recipes by the book. Basically there is a week of elimination diet and then 3 weeks of cleanse based on two liquid meals and one solid meal a day using specific ingredients. (Will exclude everything with gluten, dairy, sweets etc.. ) . It also includes detox of the mind, products we use and even water we drink.. I can stop any time so my goal is to do 1 week elimination and 2 weeks cleanse as a first go and we will see how it goes. Then really slowly reintroducing things and see how my body reacts.

it sounds wonderful! An elimination diet alone is often enough to help people feel better so I’m sure combining it with a semi-liquid diet to ease the burden of digestion and a mind-body connection will amplify the results. I’m excited for you…

And yes, I would not add in anything else at this stage other than what is recommended in the book for 2 reasons. 1) it will be easier to implement 2) it will remove variables in case your body doesn’t respond well so you can troubleshoot easier.

Please keep us posted with your cleanse journey!
