Good morning. I did have high histamine foods which I didn’t realise at the time. I think I listed what I ate in this thread. I didn’t realise egg whites are histamine liberators. I was having a semi boiled egg on a daily basis for the past few months as well.
So, if I more producing DAO. Does this mean, I don’t need a DAO supplement?
I will try either NATURDAO or my consultants pharmaceutical medicine just to give me symptom relief.
My Heidelberg test is on Tuesday 7th February. I’ve been taking slippery elm and marshmallow root powder sling with DGL and L glutamine.
I’ll go back on the femotidine after the test.

Following my blood withdrawal yesterday at the clinic (my GI Consultant blood request), results were coming in slowly.
I’ll forward the results once all have come in as they are staggered. I’ve requedted the results to be sent in one PDF file.

you could use a DAO supplement. If it reduces some symptoms, it makes sense. If your histamine is high and your own DAO enzymes aren’t sufficient, it can make sense to use it.
But the biggest win is of course to avoid at least the biggest histamine sources and triggers

B and , my blood test results are coming in drips into the app assigned to me by the hospital. Having said this, I took a screenshot of this result which is of concern. There are other low markers too. This one is a big concern.

Quercetin supplements can help inhibit histamine from the immune system and help the gut lining (2x 500 mg daily is what I advise my clients often to start with).Based on the above response a while back from your good self, I’d like to take this. Please can you recommend a brand. I notice it’s sold with vitamin C or Bromelain.
I am already taking Magnesium Ascorbate from Biocare; Vitamin C Powder- http://www.biocare.co.uk and not sure about Bromelain might irritate my stomach.
