  Hi B. and Daniel,

  Slippery elm and possibly other gut healing herbs maybe high salicylates. Slippery elm certainly is. These could also be contributed to my sensitivity and triggering histamine or acid build up.

  I’m now wondering what I could to protect my stomach.

   have you tried the DAO enzyme yet to see if it helps reduce histamine related symptoms? Doing a parasite cleanse followed by an anti-fungal cleanse, will likely reduce your overall histamine burden, but not until your biliary tract is decongested and your detox pathway is open.

   I tried this vegeterian, but I don’t think it’s working version  NATURDAO – 1.000.000 HDU – Vegetable DAO – DAO Deficiency – Histamine Intolerance – Diamine Oxidase : Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care

  Should I try  Histamine Block Plus – 60 Capsules – Seeking Health | Amrita Nutrition 

  I’ve checked with the Sheikh and gives the go ahead if alternatives don’t work.

  Regarding gut healing agents, I’m already taking marshmallow root, DGL and L-Glutamine. I haven’t tried MSM, Okra or chamomile. Zinc L Carnosine, I’ve stopped as I’ve gone over the optimal amount. Can I purchase MSM or Okra as supplements?

  I’ll order the D-limonene first to see how I get on.

   I have never seen a vegetarian DAO enzyme, so kudos to you on your research skills in finding one. Too bad it wasn’t effective.

  I have experience with the one by Seeking Health and I know it helps degrade histamine, so it’s up to you.

  MSM and okra can be purchased as separate supplements, but they are often included in multi-compound formulas for gut healing like GI Revive and Optimal GI for example.

  Would you mind taking a look at the ingredients. Have they reduced it? I’m sure there were a lot more.
