Hi B. You mentioned that all flours are no when eating to heal insulin resistance. Since starchy veggies are allowed and rice (half cooked cup) so what is the problem if eating bread or muffin with coconut flour? Is coconut flour a problem? Or lentil wraps? Can’t the allowed veggies and rice be swapped with these?

    Hi
correct, anything in flour form is to be limited. While coconut & lentil flours are better choices than grain flour for reversing metabolic dysfunction, it’s still processed into a flour which is predigested and more easily absorbed into the bloodstream. Plus, it encourages the same eating behaviour by simply replacing one flour with another. Eating food in its whole form is recommended.

got it. I was wondering if half cup of rice is old so why not same quantity of rice in flour form or even pasta. Now it’s clear
