do a strict 100% removal for at least 4 months – there’s a strong connection between dairy and enlarged adenoids

I will try my best! It’s really hard when she goes to her grandparents or if there’s a kids bday. The homeopath I used to see in dubai said it’s not good to be so strict with her cuz psychologically it can impact her more. So I’ve stuck with 100 percent dairy free at home but more lenient on the weekend when we are out and there’s a celebration etc…

I completely understand – but if it could save her adenoids, it’s worth a 4-month trial to see if there’s improvement. Try to get her grandparents on board. Explain to them that there’s a chance that having dairy is contributing to her breathing issues. Using the “doctor” excuse usually helps with close relatives… “the doctor said…” 😉

trust me I’ve tried that. They’ll still sneak it to her or will give in if she asks. They say she just a child and feel bad for her. Same thing with sugar.

Update: my daughter’s fever broke after 4-5 days. I took her to ped and he said it was a viral infection ( adeno something). He gave her an oral steroid ( 36 hours apart) to help with her congestion ( she wasn’t able to sleep from her blocked nose).

She’s since recovered but I’m noticing that she’s still tired a lot ( doesn’t have energy like before). She’s falling asleep midday and sleeping in late. Also she’s more cold than usual. Always saying she’s cold. I’m getting very concerned. I don’t know if I should take her in or maybe her body is still recovering.

her fever breaking is a good sign and it’s normal to continue to feel sluggish for a while after. But if you’re still concerned, always trust your mama instinct and take her to the doctor.

Adenovirus infections (~50 different types) most commonly affect the respiratory system and symptoms can last from a few days to up to two weeks. Severe infections may last longer and some symptoms can linger for a while, like a cough. So it’s likely that she’s still fighting it off.

Continuing immune support even after a fever breaks is still helpful in these types of situations. In “Protocols”, we share longer term viral support remedies that you can take a look at as well.
