• Wildfire Smoke

    Hi Bernadette and Daniel,

I currently live in an area which is polluted with smoke from wildfire. What means can be taken to protect myself from the smoke and pollutants?

I went over the air and skin video, and saw the suggestions on air filters. I am keeping windows and doors closed.

Is there anything else that can be done to prevent inhalation (e.g. face masks)? Is there a way to “detoxify” when smoke is inhaled inevitably?

    Thanks

Hi – you can find some information about detoxification and lung health support in our latest Lung Health & Air Pollution protocol in the resource library here (scroll all the way down). And of course, avoidance is key. So if it’s possible to leave until things settle, better to do so. If not, keeping windows closed and getting an ultra hepa air purifier will help remove particulate matter. Stay safe!
