CISTUS INCANUS INFUSION
Posted by naslam1603 on September 30, 2023 at 9:16 pmHi B. and Daniel,Have you come across this tea? What does it help with? Just looking for a variety of teas to help with inflammation. Fed up of drinking marshmallow root and licorice root tea.

I know for fact that Bernadette loves this tea ☺️ It has antiviral and antimicrobial effects. It removes HM from the body, if I am not mistaken.
Get the fresh leaves and add some cloves and ginger or any other herbs you like. -
Bernadette talks about this tea a lot as an immune boosting tea …

Hi
– others already replied to you. I personally use this tea as a preventive measure during travel and flu season, as it exhibits antiviral properties. It should be brewed 3 x to extract all of its polyphenols before being discarded. It’s also very high in antioxidants so good at countering oxidative stress. In terms of different teas for gut support, there’s also slippery elm bark and lemon balm (which is calming), and dandelion root to support liver/gallbladder.

I usually boil it on very low for 10-15 mins. Is that ‘wrong’? Or is it better just to add hot water to the leaves and let is steep ? Again, very technical

hello. This is great. I didn’t know it was very popular. What is HM?

morning B.
I tried lemon balm, but it irritated my stomach. I’ll try dandelion and cistus incanus.
B., I take slippery elm powder and mix in water and drink 30 mins before eating. Is the tea prepared in a different way?
