    Hi B. and Daniel,

On Thursday, I sustained an injury on the side of my left rib cage. The pain is unbearable when I cough, take long prolonged breaths or lay on my left. Changing clothes and worse when putting on socks has become difficult.

Apart from red light therapy, taking paracetamol and applying hot pack is there anything else I can try?

The injury happened during a Chiro treatment where the practioner applied full force on my chest when I lying down on my abdomen.

I went to A&E yesterday and informed the sprain will take weeks to heal and an x-ray will not be needed as the treatment, whether you have a fracture or not is the same. The injury will heal itself.

     – OMG! I’m so sorry you got injured by your chiropractor. Was this your first time with them?

I would turn to homeopathy for rapid relief. Arnica is always my go-to for injuries (that don’t involve bleeding). For sprains, I like to use Rhus Tox cream rubbed directly over the injury. It can be taken orally as well in pellet form in 30c or 200c. Pharmacies in London carry these usually…

If it’s a bone issue, I’m attaching a picture taken from my book on Schuessler’s tissue salts so you can figure out which one is better suited:

    Hi B.

It was my first visit meeting this practitioner.

My previous practioner at the same clinic returned home to NZ whom I had been meeting since June 2022.

    B. I’ll try the cream. I’ll pop down to Nelson’s Chemist.

Thank you for the picture from this book.

Thank you for taking the time to find out how I’m doing.

I’m applying CBD cream, red light therapy and the Rhox tox cream.

The pain is slightly subsiding. I would like to try the pellets but trying to avoid anything new orally.

I can’t sleep on my left due to the injury and if I sleep on my right, reflux symptoms kick in.

    It will take time.

    B. & Daniel,

Just a separate note, any recommendations on using CBD creams or oils for this sprain

you may want to try adding an incline to your bed/mattress if possible to help with sleeping on your back if you find that uncomfortable

as a minimum, make sure it’s 3rd party certified and organic. Ask pharmacist/physician for correct potency & form for your situation.

They come in many different types of concentrations and formulas such as CBD only or with other cannabinoids including THC. You can also find full spectrum products. But in general using it locally with a topical cream/balm and/or edible oil is helpful with pain and inflammation.

Finding the right type and dose is an art and it’s best to get guidance from a physician or pharmacist using cannabis in their practice.

It’s a minefield our there B. I will be looking for without the cannibis part. Sure, will ask the pharmacist.

yes, I am sleeping on my back atm which helps. The bed has been inclined with a gradient mattress where it’s 30 degrees at the head end and tapers off at the foot end. I then have placed a standard mattress on top.

Reflux at times still makes it’s way at times so I have sucralafate by my bedside to get me through the night.

Hi B. Fully healed with Rhus Tox cream, red light therapy and the CBD cream.

On a separate note, I came across healer.com based in the US. They sell CBD products. Look very reputable.
