    Hey guys,

a month ago I was getting these darker red sores in the corners in my mouth. I thought they were cold sores from my inflamed gums. My gums were so inflamed for a month with nothing helping. I finally went to a dentist and they gave me some laser therapy on my gums and cleaned my teeth. I thought the inflamed gums were so bad that it caused those sores in the corner of my mouth. So eventually the sores healed after the dentist. I did red light therapy on them as well, thinking it would help.

Then I went on vacation and stopped my supplements for a while, and now the cracked sores in the corner of my mouth are back, a month later. Went to a different dentist for a second opinion and he told me it was angular cheilitis. He prescribed me fungus cream, which I haven’t tried yet, but I was wondering if you had any other remedies? Feels like my immune system did kind of weaken when I wasn’t on my supplements for a month.

Hi  – since you felt a difference while taking your supplements, can you please list what you were taking.

Angular cheilitis is commonly associated with low B vitamins so I’m curious to know if this was in the mix. Food sensitivities can also be at play… did you by any chance take advantage of the KBMO offer for December’s call?

We also have a protocol for canker sores that can also work for angular cheilitis and some possible root causes to consider which you can find HERE to help with rapid relief.
