Filtered Water – Report

Just to have a peace of mind, I had our filtered watered tested at a lab.
Our water filtration system is reverse osmosis.
Would you mind having a look at the report and let me know if it reads well??

I’m assuming you wanted to check if your water had any contaminants correct? What did you ask them to check exactly?
This test report just looks at the composition of your water (minerals, pH, etc). No microorganisms or pollutants were measured. Is this was you wanted to check?

I wanted to ensure we are drinking good quality of water, to the standards recommended. To be honest I didn’t specify any test markers, this lab did a routine test. I would have thought microorganisms would have been the first thing to check.
I believe there is no heavy metal content? And also how does the PH and mineral content read?
Other than all of the above, are there any key markers to test for in order to determine whether the filtration system provides the required level of filtration and mineralization needed for drinking water.

the pH is neutral and that’s what you want for everyday drinking. I’m assuming your RO system remineralises your water? That’s usually a concern with RO because it removes everything including minerals.
And I’ve seen water tests that check for microorganisms and pollutants. So if it’s a concern for you, ask the lab if they still have your water sample and if they can provide this additional info.

Yes it does remineralize the water.
I will have it tested again for microorganisms and pollutants. Thanks Bernadette
