    Hi B. & Daniel,

This Hygrometer is in the downstairs through lounge and the air purifier is running 24 hours a day downstairs as well.

The central heating is on most of the day and night as mum pretty much lives downstairs. The reason for the high temperature is due to her arthritis. If I even open a small ventilation window, for example in the kitchen the cold air rapidly enters the through lounge.

I wanted to know whether such dry air (35%) worsens the mould situation?

Mold typically thrives in environments with higher humidity levels. So a humidity reading of 35% should be safe unless there’s water intrusion.
