    Hi, @Bernadette_Abraham

i am looking for a cardiologist for my husband who has some background in fuctional medicine too, in Dubai . As most cardiologist do not want to consider Lipo protein A and B levels and suggest a blood thinner route. I was hoping if someone here could help with this. I have been reading the book by Peter Ataria on longevity and he suggests Lipo b is possible to bring down, via supplemts and rite support, while lipo a levels cannot change ( or vice versa , i may i confused between lipo a and b ) . However my husband has these tests done and his lipo b is mid range which i belive can be bought down with the right support.

Looking forward to your guidance on this.

Hi @sheetalramchandani1 – unfortunately I do not know of a functional cardiologist in Dubai, however I can suggest that you watch the lessons I share on the lipid panel in our Interpreting Blood Chem course to better understand how to support your husband.

I also share case examples that highlight how the advanced lipid panel including Lipoprotein(a) and LDL Patterns A and B can provide deeper insights into cardiovascular risk.

The start of the lipid module is here.

I strongly suggest you watch all of the 5 lessons, but if you don’t have time, this lesson discusses the advanced CardioIQ panel.
