@Bernadette Abraham , this is what I know
31 year female , Canadian ,
Parents showed compassion n love with food , so as a teen was overweight ( 200 pounds or so as a teen ) , later got into modeling carer so started counting calories ( eating n purging, to extent where she had damaged her teeth due to it ) , became underweight because of high demands with carer , resulting in bad relationship with food ,
,,,, has worked with therapist in the past , irregular periods , has history of birth control , feels judged around food , struggles with portion size and most importantly I learnt from her partner that she did get seizures earlier but has not got since 4 years now ( partner wants her to receive some sort of guidance n support ) -
Thanks B , appreciate the recommendation, I’ll check the call on ANF therapy , yes if there is anything else to add to this , would be helpful
-
Thank you B , this is helpful , i did order the Enzalase this morning but will add the D-limonine too , will feed her beets and teas everyday ( she is with me 4 days only, hopefully she feels better ) . appreciate your detailed feedback as always and will definitely nudge her for the membership. THANK YOU ❤️

Thank you @Bernadette_Abraham , the live call was so helpful, I appreciate your patience and time.
A few qustions still lingering in my mind ( I did not want to take up so much time during call thus putting them here )
So after 10 months of NTA – I guess you did the functional diagnostic training , how long did this take ? did it have any prerequistes to take this path ?
What about school of applied functional medicine ? when was this ( before or after NTA and fuctional diagnistic training ) and how long ? any prerequistes for this ?
Also have scheduled a few calls , preparing the pros n cons list and will allow myself time n thought procees.
Again , Thank you so much

Hi, @Bernadette_Abraham and @Daniel
Sharing a little background so it might be helpful for those who need to get in touch with courses done so far, ( happy to share my experience )
IIN health caching program was a great start point for me and i followed it with completing the GUT, HORMONE , EMOTIONAL EATING AND DETOX PROGRAMS.
I then did the Functional medicine health coaching program from IFM, which was also the next step with more learnings.
However, nutrition being an evolving world and also me being the crazy health nut, I want to take this next step.
I first considered university of western for the Masters in Human nutrition and functional medicine , but since it is a very time consuming and long program ( 2 to 5 years as I also work full time ) i am contemplating about signing up . The plus point is , it does give a deep dive into the field of nutrion and of course the title of a nutrionist.
My preference is to have further knowledge apart from the above courses to better assist my clients and be able to study while not giving up my job, thus i need guidance on which course will further enhance my knowledge ( travelling to USA is not a concern at my end ) The struggle is which course will further build my strenght in this field.

Thanks B , I’ll ask the relevant questions however what I know so far is it’s due to H-pylori ( and h-pylori was passed on via his side as she too had it )
However , for now it’s matulta tea on empty stomach and HCL retained with pepsin mid meal ( dosage as per that’s needed after trying it out according to the HCL recommendation)
Attached are two links that I found online ( let me know if they are ok or any other u suggest)https://www.iherb.com/pal/referral/pdp/HBO9428?productId=2467&rcode=HBO9428&utm_medium=appshare

Thank you B,
So I’ll try HCl mid meal here for a few weeks ( ideally 2 weeks ) ( also I’ll chk with what dosage of HCL works for him him ) , post trying for two weeks I’ll ask him to take HCL only during travel and regularly ( do u think this is the right way forward )
Can matulta tea n HCL been taken together ? Are there any side effects as the report attached says 0.11 as reading and is negative
-
Thank you B,
His Distress reason is low stomach acid ( not bile or pancreatic enzyme ) as you have rightly mentioned it.
I did consider HCL betaine with pepsin, mid meal for him however was doughtful about betaine while having H- pylori and was not sure if that would impact him negatively. Attached below is his H-pylori report that says negative ( this has been possible with the amzing matulta tea results ) , thus this leads to my next two questions – 1. should he continue the matulta tea for one more month ? does it have ant side effects or implications for continuing it ? it was just taken for one month so far.
Should he take the HCL betaine wit pepsin mid meal only while travelling or start here first , understand the dosage well and then contine only while travelling ?
Thank you for answering all the above so patiently , i am so thankful for your time and patience.

Thank you , @Bernadette_Abraham , this was so helpful . I will keep you posted on my next steps , wish me luck.
BTW, I am suprised you moved from comp science to FM while most of the world wants to move towards that field . ( really well done and a big slaute )

Also for the university route , the prerequisite is to finish anatomy n physiology ( which I have started n needs about 20 hours per week ) and next is medical terminology ( yet to start )
These are needed even before I start the masters program , thus anywhere between 3-5 years ,,, thus confused -
@Bernadette_Abraham it’s tempting to have the title but I prefer learning the extra knowledge and continue to work alongside ( university course is intense , needs full time attention )
So I would say have the next step of skill set is important
