Thank you for the link on supplements. That was really helpful with good references!
They are taking their basic vitamins and generally in good health but were looking to try NAC specifically. I’ll hold off on the B vitamins for now.
Thanks

Hey Daniel,
Thank you so much for getting back.
These aren’t my results actually but a friends who a few months back had eaten some raw meat and he had quite painful abdominal pain at the time and was given a five day antibiotic course. I had recommended the GI Map test and these are the results.
In terms of diet, he is back on his meal plans high in protein and fat which includes veggies – I need to check the quantity though. He has just started taking some SCFA supplements (prior to these results)
his vitamin D levels use to be on the lower but are now at 56 so increasing nicely. B12 also use to be on the lower end but has now increased with B complex vit. He takes Omega 3 and magnesium too.
In terms of symptoms the only major ones were back in October before the antibiotics- since then no painful symptoms but bloating and indigestion.
Stress levels are up – it’s been a year he has a rash on his forehead that flares during times.
I know H pylori is present in many and if there are no painful symptoms does this mean it doesn’t need to be killed off?
Look forward to your response.
Thanks! Lana

Thank you Bernadetter for the recommendations. This is so useful. He has ordered the GI Map Zonulin so the results hopefully will give him a lead to what he is feeling.
Thanks for sharing the links – I will go through those.Lana

Hi Bernadette, Just a bit of an update. He is now feeling a little low and not his usual self and I am wondering if this could be the effect those antibiotics have on him. He isnt taking his probiotics and magnesium as he should be so this is definitely something to start again but he has started on NAC. Is there any recommendations at this point that you can share that could help support him please?
Thanks

Thank you for the explanation. She will be getting another opinion as prior to the scan she was told it was suspicious but when the scan was done, they explained that it was benign.
