so yellow hands could have a few meanings but let’s start with diet first. Have you been eating a large amount of carotene rich foods by any chance? https://www.racgp.org.au/afp/2017/october/a-young-woman-with-yellow-hands-and-secondary-amen

what kind of toothpaste do you use? Does it contain SLS? Also, did she say you’ve lost enamel? This is common with bullemia because of the acidic purging. Do you think this is what your dentist was implying? Do they know your history?

By the way, this month we have both Dr David and Dr Agnes Roze; 2 amazing biological dentists. If you have any questions for them, please post it beneath their post in the event space and I’ll pass it on to them.

I’m not sure I’m understanding you correctly – you’re concerned about yellow hands and you have teeth sensitivity which your dentist is staying it’s due to a viral load? And they’re also saying it’s a sign of anorexia? Is that right?

yes correct – you’ll need to use a mail forwarding company to redirect them to Dubai. I use Shop & Ship or Boxit4me if buying from multiple vendors.

are you sure you’re logging into the B Better dispensary? If you have access to Fullscript from other practitioners, you need to log out, select the B Better dispensary and log in with those credentials to be able to access the full catalog only available to B Better members

the Klaire Labs therbiotic complete also comes in powder form if she can’t swallow pills. If you’ve setup an account with the B Better Fullscript dispensary, you can find it there.

Just a note about the throat tickle… if she’s developed acid reflux, it could be silent reflux that’s causing it. Supporting her with the flaxseed cough remedy will help soothe her throat since it’s mucilagenous. And anything else mucilagenous like slippery elm tea for example, could also help soothe her irritated throat if it’s from the reflux.

If she’s still symptomatic despite supplementing with T4, she’s likely not converting it well to free T3. Have her check her iron/ferritin, RBC zinc, vitamin A, selenium levels for starters. What’s her stress level? Any other sign of inflammation in her body? This will cause thyroid hormone to get converted to the inactive Reverse T3 as well and lead to these symptoms.

Also, what’s her diet like? Does she eat animal products? Does she suffer from GI symptoms as well that might indicate poor digestion? We need protein and iodine to make thyroid hormone, so working on her diet and ensuring she’s getting in these nutrients through food as a foundation is a good idea.

both are correct – androgen dominance can lead to estrogen dominance. When testosterone is high in a woman (usually higher insulin is at play here), this will cause annovulation (no ovulation). When she doesn’t ovulate, progesterone doesn’t get produced, therefore during her luteal phase when progesterone should be highest, it’s not, which leads a higher estrogen to progesterone ratio (i.e. estrogen dominance) in that part of her cycle. Makes sense?

I’ve seen some pretty incredible results with NAET when it comes to food sensitivities/allergies with children. But for treating other things in adults, it’s really hit and miss. But worth a shot for your child for sure!

can you please share the results (either type them out with reference ranges or upload the thyroid labs). If it’s a conversion issue, think about nutrients needed for that. How is zinc, iron, vitamin A, selenium?

Hi  – I’ve been recently using the brand Ecover. They have a full range of products for dishes to washing machine products, and are available at Union Coop. I’ve found them to the most effective and best priced.

If cost isn’t an issue, there is also the Unscented Company. I believe they are selling at Tavola and they have refillable options. I’ve tried them, but wasn’t impressed, especially given the higher cost.

The Organic Foods & Cafe also have a line of products (can’t remember the name though) where you can refill from.

    Hope this helps.

did you watch the Hydration pillar inside the Beginner’s Health Roadmap yet? I share suggestions for filters and certifications to be looking out for in that part of the course.

Just like each person’s health journey is very bio-individual, choosing the right filtration system for YOUR house is also very individual. So the best approach is to test your water (I share the testing company in that section) and see what you need to filter out – then you can decide which type of filter you need to do the job. Makes sense?

The under-sink water filters I use from Liquid of Life are actually from a US-based company so I can find out for you, but like I said, the best approach is to see what your water needs.

Let me know if you still need help deciding.

it’s always about weighing the pros vs the cons. And grounding has many more benefits that outweigh any potential risks that you’ve mentioned. Same logic would apply to forest bathing or even eating salads with the risk of  ingesting parasites. Should we not eat or do those health promoting habits in fear of what may or may not happen?

They are ubiquitous, and so the best defense is to support your body’s immune system through diet and lifestyle measures, and take precautionary measures when needed, instead of fearing pathogens. And this is why I also recommend minimum once yearly parasite cleanses. Veterinary clinics deworm horses and other animals every 6 months, I believe the same should apply to humans.
