oh I thought this was for adults. No, I wouldn’t recommend it for kids. If you want to help them adjust to the time difference, start preparing their bodies by slightly shifting bed time & dinner time accordingly a few days before travel.

You can checkout this post on jet lag where I share tips in the caption: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cs6Ph7ZJupg/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

You can also download the app called Timeshifter which helps prepare for international travel. First trip is free to try.

So calcium channel blockers, block calcium from entering the cells of the heart and arteries, which causes them to relax. But yes, they do cause sodium loss, so she would likely benefit from additional salt in her diet.

Often times, the drug that is being used to treat hypertension actually contributes to the problem longer term by creating an electrolyte imbalance unfortunately.

Hi  – please watch this video in the Mold & Mycotoxin Illness course, which explains what nutrients are needed in the energy production cycle. It explains mitochondrial support, which is the powerhouse in our cells, and what generates our energy currency called ATP.

As for sleep support, melatonin is usually the go-to sleep-aid remedy to help a person fall asleep and is for short-term use.

yes, definitely be supporting his gut microbiome as well after taking so many rounds of antibiotics. Working on gut health will support immune health and make them more resilient as well to illnesses in the future.

For kids, I like Klaire Labs Therbiotic Complete Powder.

Regarding child dosing, here is Clark’s Rule: for children aged 2-17. Take the child’s weight in pounds and divide by 150 pounds. Multiply the fractional result by the adult dose to find the equivalent child dosage. For example, if an adult dose of tincture calls for 30 drops and the child weighs 30 pounds, divide the child’s weight by 150 (30/150) to get 1/5. Multiply 1/5 times 30 drops to get 6 drops. This method can also be used for elders and cats.

I use a similar rule for powder as well.

thanks for sharing your experience. Glad to hear that making healthier swaps took care of it for you. I’m hoping this will solve the issue for  too!!

that was my initial thought, but since there’s no active infection and doctors ruled out bacteria and yeast, I have a feeling it’s likely more to do with chemical ingredients that you’re being exposed to. That’s why I suggest you first make the swaps I suggested above (definitely stop using the deodorant as that might be the culprit given the baking soda!) and see if there’s a difference after 2 weeks of making the swaps/discontinuing those body wash products & condoms.

    Please keep us posted!

I searched the one you posted in the picture: https://www.kushae.com/collections/all-products/products/natural-feminine-deodorant-spray

Is that the one? If so, when you click on ingredient list, you’ll see it lists baking soda as an ingredient.

have you seen the allergies/congestion protocol in the Resource Library? I share a few different product suggestions there.

A nettle infusion is also much stronger than a tea. Here’s a post on how to do that. Onion peel is very rich in quercetin, so it’s a nice food-therapy option to add in as well.

thank you for answering. I’m going to ask a few more questions if you don’t mind, since the smell happened before the itch. I’m suspicious that the itch is related to the products you’re using, which I’ll touch on next, but first I want to focus on the smell since that was the initial symptom.

    1. Can you try to describe the smell? What would you say it smells like?
    2. Do you know when the smell started? How long has it been?
    3. Is the smell always present or only at certain times?
    4. Can you pinpoint when the itch started? Was it around the same time you started using the deodorant? I’m asking because it contains baking soda as an ingredient which can be irritating to some people’s skin.

Now regarding the itch, let’s try to switch your products out to rule out a sensitivity to one of the ingredients in your products that you’re using:
    1.  Try to stop using the deodorant for about a week or two to see if the itch lessens.
    2. Ecover, while it is a lower toxic brand compared to conventional laundry detergent, it does still contain some questionable ingredients. I have recently switched to Rooted Regimen and LOVE them!! It’s replaced all of the cleaning products in my home including dish liquid and laundry detergent. It’s a local company, and fully non-toxic! B Better members get an exclusive discount code:  BBETTER20 for 20% off! Try making this switch to see if it helps the itch as well.

    3. Condoms. What brand do you use? Here’s an article sharing some of the possible ingredients in condoms. In this study review, parabens were reported to cause contact dermatitis reactions in some individuals on cutaneous exposure.

Here are 3 brands of non-toxic condoms to consider trying instead:
    Option 1: Glyde-ultra
    Option 2: Lovability
    Option 3: Grove

You’ll need to hand-carry these into the UAE as the mail forwarding companies won’t ship them into the country. It’s one of the “banned” items unfortunately.

    4. Unfortunatley Joe Malone uses many toxic ingredients. I’m not sure which one you are using exactly, but here are the ingredients in their English Pear & Freezia body and hand wash:

Ingredients: WaterAquaEau, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauramidopropyl Betaine, Peg-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Fragrance (Parfum), Peg-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Glycerin, Ceteth-20, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Caffeine, Sucrose, Polysorbate 20, Pentylene Glycol, Peg-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Peg-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, Polyquaternium-7, Hexylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride, Linalool, Limonene, Benzyl Benzoate, Geraniol, Magnesium Nitrate, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Phenoxyethanol

The items in bold are toxic and/or irritants. I tried to look for Cathy Doll’s ingredients and couldn’t find any on their website, which is a huge red flag.

I would advise switching to a much lesser toxic body wash. I personally like to use an olive oil soap bar (like the old days), and have found it to work wonders for my skin and that of my clients! Here’s the brand I buy on Amazon.

I would start with these changes first, and if the itching does not stop, please report back and we’ll continue digging deeper to help you figure out the root cause.

oh you said there was burning. Ok, so no burning. The only symptoms are itchiness and smell?

    1. Did the smell and itch happen at the same time? Or did the smell happen before the itch?
    2. What is the deodorant you are using for the smell? Is it fragranced?
    3. What laundry detergent do you use?
    4. Do you notice if a certain type of activity worsens the itch? Or at different times of the month (for example, is it worse around period time)?
    5. What type of menstrual products do you use please?
    6. If you are sexually active, are any lubricants or condoms being used?
    7. Are your bodysoaps scented? What brand do you use please?

can you please share more details about that symptom.

    -When did it start?
-Is it all the time? Or happens at specific times?
-Is it only burning or is it accompanied with other symptoms like itching, discharge, smell, dryness, etc?
-What have the doctors told you could be the reason if bacteria and fungus were ruled out?
-Have you tried any medication or natural remedies to relieve the burn?
