That’s very helpful… my absolute biggest regret in life is drinking soda… I’ve tried so many time to quit only to have severe physical pain. I’ve tried switching to diet coke ( ) but I get headaches, muscle cramps, nausea, moody and darn right pissy to everyone . It hurts so bad that I just go back to it If I could completely give it up, I could lose weight, my teeth would probably be healthier.. ( I have to get a partial dentures) but it cost around 8,000.00 dollars and I do not have health insurance…I feel like I would be happier… going to really try to do what bearnedtte suggest …

yes to some extent . Is it necessary to stop probiotic supplements and probiotic drink such kefir etc while on SIBO specific diet? Thank you

thank you B. Unfortunately today i came positive for SIBO and lactose intolerance too. I am feeling so numb and overwhelmed with all the information on SIBO/ SIBO diet. What would you suggest? Shall i focus only on removing h pylori first then think of other things. I am so sorry for asking so many questions!

I will plan to add this liver panel when I get my bloodwork done.I’ve also been asked to do a SIBO test by a nutritionist I consulted recently. Before this consult, I’d been on an elimination diet for over 3 months and supplementing with Betaine (with digestive enzymes) and still no relief from diarrhea and excessive gassiness. SIBO test isn’t a very common procedure where I live presently. If you could you please share some inputs about the test and what I should look for. And if tested positive, is there a course of action you recommend, or would I need antibiotics?

thank you so much B for your take on this infection. And yes i am yet to reach h pylori part of gut health masteclass. I have few more questions on this. So my Tsh is also high (4.3). My gp suggested to start with small dosage of thyroxine for now. But I am hesitant to start. Do you think due to this infection my TSH is high?
Also my biggest concern my baby girl who is 4 yrs old is experiancing stomach pain and loose stools And her recent stool test showed few pus cells and rbc in the stool. Shall we get her tested for h pylori too? Which are the herbal supplements for kids?

Thank you! This is very helpful. I will get those tests done soon. I have been paying close attention to food combinations and order of consumption lately, especially since reading Jessie Inchauspe’s (Glucose Goddess on Instagram) book, Glucose Revolution.
